Training to reach an objective for you and your dog can be accomplished in a variety of ways...The programs we offer include, "Board and Train," Team Evaluations, "Private Lessons," A Series of Private Lessons, and either Two or Four week "Quick Start" Programs. When we start any of the programs, a "Team Evaluation," occurs first, which is part of the standard obedience program and is an additional cost for the rest of the disciplines we offer. This helps us establish a start point for you and your canine friend. Behavorial Modification and Alteration is very subjective, we try to determine your canine's needs during an intital evaluation, and work here also with goals in mind. We could fill pages with narrative on this topic. A person-to-person phone call is where these programs can get started. Board and Train: Our standard obedience course, minimum 6 to 7 weeks in length, $600/Month. This general obedience course lends itself well to younger dogs, which primarily need to focus on basic commands and good citizen behavior. Our obedience program dogs at the end of their training period will sit, stay, heel, come, and lay down on command in addition to being trained for admonishment with the word "no". We specialize in behavioral dog problem solving. We like to involve the complete household unit when possible in the training process. We will begin to train you with your dog usually at two weeks and there after until completion of the course. Board and train can be a great way for people who don't have the time and or skill to train their dog, in lieu of Private Lessons. Once the dog has completed the program, follow up phone calls and refresher sessions will be provided for the owner. Once the dog has completed the program, follow up lessons can be provided for the owner. For continued success it is very important that you learn how to work with the dog. Obedience practice can easily be incorporated into a daily routine and your exercise schedule. Team Evaluation: A 75 minutes private session with the trainer, you and your dog. We will evaluate the dog's skill level, his temperament and overall manners and from that session decide if or what type of training you and your dog would benefit the most from. $85.00 Private Lessons: In home private lessons, 75 Minute in length, with the addition of other venues as the dog builds his or her confidence and skill level. These lessons are $95.00 per session and we try to arrange them on a bi-weekly basis, with A Three (3)-lesson package available for $265.00. We will work on whatever you and I fell your canine friend needs in terms of behavioral attentions or obedience skills. Quick Start Programs: Two week or four week programs available. This is a very hands on, accelerated and intensive training program for your dog. Both Quick Start programs include a 90-minute handling/handler skill building session with Jeff. Two week Quick Start TrainingThese skills along with socialization and encounter training also are included.
4 Week Quick Start TrainingThese skills along with socialization and encounter training also are included.
I will also work the dog how to behave nicely in the home (remain calm, refrain from counter jumping, and good house manners and, jumping on furniture and guests). All of these programs and your dog can be discussed at greater depth, either in person or over the telephone. |
