Upland Bird Hunting
The Blue Ridge Ranch Hunt Club operates in SE Washington, centered around Washtucna and Benge. Hunting areas extend south toward Hooper and down to the Snake River. The land has not been utilized for upland bird hunting so there are healthy populations of Valley Quail, Pheasants, Huns, and Chukar, as well as Doves and migrating ducks and geese. The hunt club will include some waterfowl opportunities and include guest privileges as part of the package. Varmint hunting is also included exclusive of rock chuck hunting. Guest privileges allow you to bring one guest on each hunt day, with the possibility of more if the ranches have space available.
Big Game Hunting
Big game hunts for deer are offered as an additional purchase for hunt club members. Both unguided and full service guided hunts are available. See the details below.
WASHINGTON, "THE PALOUSE BIG GAME" - Bow, rifle, and muzzleloader.
There are more deer in this area then you can imagine, and from the looks of it, quite a few nice ones. We will be doing a limited number of Trophy Hunts on these ranches as well as guided Mule Deer and Whitetail hunts. The bucks on these ranches, in a historic 3 point or better area, have been dandies in averaging 21 to 27 inches. The herd has been managed well on these far flung ranches, spread throughout Washington units 284 and 142, and possibly one more unit as well. The ranches encompass about 40,000 acres and by fall we plan to add more ranchland. The habitat for big game is diverse, and with all the CRP in this country they have good browse. The Whitetails are predominately in the southern part of this ranch land. Four day, 5 night hunt is $2995 per person, does not include tag or license.

Unlimited Hunting Days and Guest Days
Hunt days are unlimited, there is no ceiling on those, or on guest days. Members need to email us plans to hunt within 42 hours of your projected hunting day. The ranches will be open 7 days a week, except during the main waterfowl migration. During the migration the hunt club will be available for waterfowl on Wednesdays, Saturday, and Sunday. Waterfowl hunting is included with membership. During the prime waterfowl migration we will hunt Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Eve Day, based on space available. We will have to limit total membership to prevent overcrowding and to maintain the quality of the habitat. Upland hunting is limited on designated waterfowl days.
Accommodations and RV Parking
There are many designated places to park your RV or Camper, one of which is centrally located. One of our ranches is in the first stages of building an RV park to handle more guests as we grow. There are also a limited number of overnight accommodations available. The Blue Ridge Ranch is very horse friendly, hosting various Field Trials, Endurance Rides, Trail Rides, and various Clinics. If you have any interest in those events, please contact us and we will put you in touch with the right people.
Protecting Habitat
The Blue Ridge Ranch Hunt Club has approximately 40,000 acres of diverse wildlife habitat, including areas along the Snake River. The Blue Ridge Ranch goal is to improve and add wildlife habitat, and they are progressing well along those lines already. When one looks at this country it looks a bit like North and South Dakota. Guest days at these scenic locations are included in club membership.
